LT-1170 is a secondary aminofunctional silane possessing two symmetric silicon atoms.
       LT-1170 may act as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics and elastomers) or as a surface modifier.

LT-1170 is a slightly yellowish liquid with an amine-like odor. It is soluble in alcohols, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Application

◆ Amino bis-silanes such as LT-1170 has been shown to be effective in reacting with epoxy, urethane, melamine, polyimide, phenolic and furan thermosetting resins as well as many thermoplastics, such as polyamides and polyesters.
